After discussing a number of merits of WebQuests, I prefer to provide some limitations in my mind.
🔺1️⃣ A test for student autonomy
WebQuests are in the online platform, which means teachers need take the risk of asking students to learn online. For some students, online learning will divert their attention.
🔺2️⃣ A test for teacher control
Although students can complete their tasks in WebQuests, it does not mean that teachers can be free. As teachers, the control of time and learning should be added but too much supervision is detrimental for the students' development. Therefore, teachers should pay more attention to the degree of regulatory according to students' age, level or their psychology.
